Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad


​Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad was appointed as Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Brunei Darussalam on 7 of ​Zulhijjah, 1443 / 7 of June, 2022.

On 15​ of July, 2022, in conjunction with the 76th birthday of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Yang Berhormat Dato was awarded the Darjah Setia Negara 
​Brunei Yang Amat Bahagia First Class (P.S.N.B.) Decoration, which carries the title 'Dato Seri Setia'.

During his service in the government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Yang Berhormat Dato held several important positions. Among them:​​​

​​Yang Berhormat Menteri began his service with government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam after graduating from University Brunei Darussalam in 1991.

He is married to Yang Mulia Datin Hajah Bainun binti Haji Bungsu and was blessed with five children: three sons and two daughters.
